Shadowlawn

The city was working on gas lines last week and left a massive gaping hole in the alley located on 21.5 street behind unit 406A garage. This is making it difficult for alley goers and for residents to maneuver the alley. Please fill immediately and in the meantime cover with a metal board so cars can pass.

Several years ago, during a summer with consistent hot days (like now!), the water temperature in Lake holly reached a point that insufficient oxygen in the water led to a massive fish kill in South Lake Holly. With the repetitive hot days after the fish kill, the smell from all the dead fish floating in the lake was overwhelming! It appears we are approaching a repeat of that situation. After that heat-induced fish kill, the City of VB paid to have deep channels dredged in both north and south Lake Holly to provide a place for the fish in the lake to go to cool off. That was over 15 years ago and we believe those channels have probably mostly filled in. In addition the City of VB added a fountain visible from Pacific Avenue and the wooden walkway to provide added oxygen to the water. Unfortunately that fountain is currently off to the manufacturer being overhauled. During the past week we have observed several dead fish floating in South Lake Holly and strongly believe this is a harbinger of things to come (Note: the Virginian Pilot showed the Ocean Temp to be 80 degrees today! Lake Holly HAS TO BE HOTTER!) Is there some way to expedite the repair of the fountain before another massive fish kill?

The light at the end of the 700 block of Terrace Avenue is out and there are major vines growing up the pol and all around the silver box at the top of the pole. Thank you!

Multiple potholes & patches are along this strip of roadway. Please repave this 40 ft block of roadway. The patches are just not working. This has been reported multiple times.

Where 24th street dead ends between Artic and Pacific the "Emergency Vehicle" pass through is being constantly used to cross between the two streets. I have witnessed numerous vehicle everyday passing through the area and some at excessive speeds. The vertical posts have been run over and have disappeared. The sigh is up so high and obstructed. This is a safety issue since the 24th street passthrough is constantly used by pedestrians. Please come up with a better solution to stop cars from passong through the area.

The pole is down where the dead end is

The poles that "block" the dead end -- it's an emergency vehicles only area. Someone has stolen one of the bendable barriers AGAIN.

The boardwalk from 9th St. to Rudee is a mess with stains and concrete broke up in front of Mahi Mahs and Chix. Big stain from inlet well past 9th St. along with feces stains and other stains the boardwalk looks like a parking lot an embarrassment. When was the last time it was power washed. I am sure problem goes past 9th St as well, please do something about this

piles of trash, broken chairs, trash along rudee connector in water and in the rocks... This is directly from people living under the bridge ... Please have cleaned up and powered washed
