    These trash cans has been out here since last Thursday. The green dumpster that is torn up has been out here for about 5 months now. this is making our neighborhood look bad. Since they have been in this house we are seeing rats and roaches all outside coming into our yards. Can we get someone out here to do something. It's 2 cars in the driveway that is not running the red one was on the street it was marked to be towed but no one never came and told it so they put it back in the driveway. There is a previous car that has been in the backyard for over 5 years and the previous people left it there when they moved a year ago. Tarps is flying off the roof everyone is picking the debri up everyday from this house because it's blowing into the yards. there is a hole in the roof that has been there for years and they are staying in this house. the house is not for anyone to stay in that has kids not only kids just you as an adult. Can we please get some help. The trash over flows and it stinks so bad where you can't go outside or open your windows. We all are tired at this point we all are thinking about selling our homes and move to the suburbs because we can't seem to get any help. This is not the first time this has been reported.

    The home address is correct but walking south on Mettetal you would never suspect there is a house and its lot with all that vegetation. You cannot walk on the sidewalk, it's covered with tall weeds that have grown into trees, as you can plainly see. l have made complaints about this address since 2019! Nothing has been done, other than letting me know it is owned by someone. That's NO excuse for allowing a house to look like this in a city where kids walk to school every day and homeowners still live in this block that a slum landlord is allow this much leverage for as long as it's been allowed. Erma Henderson is at the cross street. l am amazed this house is being ignored by the city that says they will handle any abandoned or dangerous situation where kids pass on their way to school. This is not a comfortable site on a city street for any human.

    These orange barrels have been in the intersection for more than a month and the project appears to be complete Vehicles headed south and turning onto Pembroke from Livernois are blocking traffic or must turn without the use of the traffic light that has an arrow It only illuminates when a car is in the turn lane This project has been abandoned by the contractor and needs to be addressed immediately They should be fined or payment reduced for no following through on the work

    Waste Management continues to illegally dump/spill hazardous fluids from their garbage trucks even though they know about it It's illegal.

    Will DPW do anything to hold this contractor accountable, clean up the hazardous spillage, and ensure this does not continue???

    This has been occurring regularly The previous waste contractor, Advanced disposal also did this The spillage of hazardous fluids is leading to a significant health and safety issues, as well as causing hazardous waste to enter storm drains Not to mention, the smell is horrific

    324.11526 Inspection of solid waste transporting unit; determination; administration; inspections.

    Sec. 11526.
      (1) The department, a health officer, or a law enforcement officer of competent jurisdiction may inspect a solid waste transporting unit that is being used to transport solid waste along a public road to determine if the solid waste transporting unit is designed, maintained, and operated in a manner to prevent littering or to determine if the owner or operator of the solid waste transporting unit is performing in compliance with this part and the rules promulgated under this part.

    324.11527 Delivery of waste to licensed disposal area or solid waste transfer facility; vehicle or container; violation; penalty.

    Sec. 11527.
      (1) A solid waste hauler transporting solid waste over a public road in this state shall deliver all waste to a disposal area or solid waste transfer facility licensed under this part and shall use only a vehicle or container that does not contribute to littering and that conforms to the rules promulgated by the department.
      (2) A solid waste hauler who violates this part or a rule promulgated under this part, or who is responsible for a vehicle that has in part contributed to a violation of this part or a rule promulgated under this part, is subject to a penalty as provided in section 11549

    324.11528 Solid waste transporting unit; watertight; construction, maintenance, and operation; violation; penalties; ordering unit out of service.
    Sec. 11528.
      (1) A solid waste transporting unit used for garbage, industrial or domestic sludges, or other moisture laden materials not specifically covered by part 121 shall be watertight and constructed, maintained, and operated to prevent littering. Solid waste transporting units used for hauling other solid waste shall be designed and operated to prevent littering or any other nuisance.
      (2) A solid waste hauler who violates this part or the rules promulgated under this part is subject to the penalties provided in this part.
      (3) The department, a health officer, or a law enforcement officer may order a solid waste transporting unit out of service if the unit does not comply with the requirements of this part or the rules promulgated under this part. Continued use of a solid waste transporting unit ordered out of service is a violation of this part.
